Conference on “Modern technologies for the security of public places “, OCT 14-15, KATOWICE AIRPORT.
On 14.20. 2021 at the “Katowice” International Airport Wojciech Korfanty, the National Scientific Conference “Modern technologies for the safety of public places” was held. The organizers of the conference were the WSB Academy, the International Airport “Katowice”, the Military Institute of Chemistry and Radiometry and the Military Institute of Armament Technology.
The conference was an opportunity for discussion and exchange of experiences between the scientific community and practitioners carrying out public safety tasks in the economic environment, as well as airport managers and representatives of state services. The combination of scientific and practical elements is an important useful and implementation component in science, consistently implemented at the WSB Academy.
The conference was attended by representatives of many Polish and foreign research centers, including military research institutes, University of Łódź, Silesian University of Technology, University of Warmia and Mazury, Loughborough University in England; uniformed services and offices responsible for public safety, i.e. the Border Guard, Police, State Fire Service, State Protection Service, Civil Aviation Authority, Czech Customs Office of the Moravian-Silesian Region, as well as entities representing stakeholders in the economic environment.
